SoFresh, a Tampa-based bowl-and-salad chain, opens its fourth Northeast Florida location at the Marketplace at Nocatee on Thursday, Sept. 3, with a half-price lunch deal.

The fast-casual restaurant will hold its grand opening at 10:30 a.m. at 75 Irondale Road, Suite 105, in the Publix-anchored shopping center, according to SJ Citizen. Customers who order in person between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. can get 50% off by using the code FRESH50.

The deal is in-person only.

The 1,373-square-foot restaurant joins three other Northeast Florida SoFresh locations. The chain already operates at The Pavilion at Durbin Park, at 505 Durbin Pavilion Drive, and at SilverLeaf Marketplace, at 1985 SilverLeaf Parkway. A fourth area location operates on Roosevelt Boulevard in Jacksonville's Ortega Park area.

The Durbin Park and SilverLeaf locations are owned by franchisees Jeff and Amanda LaConte, who opened their Durbin Park store on April 14 and their SilverLeaf store on July 30, according to St. Johns Community. The Nocatee location is operated by a separate franchisee.

Florida native John Williams founded SoFresh in Tampa in 2013. The company opened six corporate locations in the Tampa and Sarasota areas before launching its franchise model. Its first franchise opened in Pittsburgh in 2019. As of July, the brand had 27 locations across Florida and Pennsylvania.

The menu features customizable warm bowls, salads, wraps and quesadillas, along with smoothies, juices and desserts. Protein options include antibiotic-free chicken, sirloin steak, blackened salmon, grilled shrimp, ahi tuna and organic tofu. Signature items include a Hawaiian ginger bowl with pineapple, edamame and zucchini noodles, and a Greek bowl with feta, chickpeas and tzatziki.

The company says additional locations are planned in several states.
