Bartram Trail High School students will present their Character Counts fashion collection Saturday, Oct. 10, at the JAX FUSE Fashion Show in Nocatee.
The event takes place at The Link, 425 Town Plaza Ave., and features collections from established and emerging designers.
The students’ participation was announced in a St. Johns County School District career and technical education post by Kristina Bransford, who described the collection as reflecting “both style and purpose.”
Student collection reaches the runway
The district’s announcement identifies the collection as a project of Bartram Trail’s Design Academy. Students developed their designs around Character Counts values, bringing their ideas from initial concepts to a public runway presentation.
The JAX FUSE Fashion Day listing describes an evening featuring designers, models, lighting and music.
Career education supports student opportunities
The collection highlights one of the ways students can apply their classroom work in a public setting.
In a Jan. 7, 2025, report, the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce said approximately 56% of the county’s high school students participated in career and technical education pathways, including the Early Career Program and 28 career academies. Those figures describe participation at the time of that report.
Tickets and current event information are available through the JAX FUSE ticket page, which links to Eventbrite.
