RiverTown's amenities calendar lists eight community events from Thursday, Aug. 20, through Tuesday, Sept. 8, including live music, a book club, wine tastings and weekly food trucks at the neighborhood's RiverClub and RiverHouse venues, according to the RiverTown Amenities events calendar.
Book Club Kicks Off the Run of Programming
The stretch began Thursday, Aug. 20, with Readers by the River, the community's book club gathering, running from 4 to 6 p.m. Residents can check rivertownamenities.com for location details.
Wine, Bunco and Live Music Fill Out Next Week
The following week picks up pace. The Winetasters Club meets Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the RiverHouse. Bunco night follows Thursday, Aug. 27, at the same venue from 6 to 10 p.m. Then on Friday, Aug. 28, performer Violette Lani takes the stage at the RiverClub from 6 to 9 p.m.
September Opens With Another Round of Music and Socials
September opens with the 50's Club gathering at the RiverHouse on Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 6 to 10 p.m. That Friday, Sept. 4, another live music night hits the RiverClub from 6 to 9 p.m. The performer has not yet been announced.
Full-Day Wellness Event Closes Out the Stretch
The stretch wraps up with Well 2 Thrive, a full-day wellness event at the RiverHouse on Tuesday, Sept. 8, running from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event page was first posted July 15, making it the most recently added listing in this run of programming.
Weekly Food Trucks Continue on Their Own Schedule
Food Truck Fridays continues every Friday at the RiverHouse from 5 to 8 p.m., weather permitting. According to the RiverTown Amenities events page, trucks are booked through a third party and the lineup is subject to change.
Some Programs Have Run for Nearly Two Years
Several of these programs are long-running. The 50's Club has been meeting since at least October 2024, Readers by the River dates back to early 2024, and Food Truck Fridays has operated on the same weekly schedule since February 2024. The Winetasters Club launched in late 2025.
