Durbin Crossing's second Country Market of the year brings local vendors, food trucks and a petting zoo to St. Johns on Sunday, Sept. 27.
The Fall Country Market runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is free and open to both residents and non-residents, according to the Durbin Crossing Living events page. No RSVP is required.
Vendors and artisans will sell homemade and homegrown goods, including local beef, chicken, honey, sourdough baked goods, handmade soaps, bath products and pottery, according to Durbin Crossing Living. All items sold at the market must be handmade or homegrown, the community said in a Facebook post seeking additional vendors. Food trucks will serve meals while shoppers browse.
The market also features a petting zoo run by Sheehan Homestead, an education-focused farm in Callahan. The farm offers mobile petting zoo experiences for schools, events and parties, according to its Hipcamp listing. Its animals include goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, quail and Royal Palm turkeys.
Durbin Crossing Living described the Sept. 27 event as its second Country Market of the year. The community's South Amenity Center at 145 S. Durbin Parkway in St. Johns serves as the primary event venue, though Durbin Crossing Living has not specified the exact location for this market on its event page.
