Bartram Trail and Creekside sent eight swimmers to the Frank Holleman Invitational at Planet Swim in Ponte Vedra Beach on Saturday, Sept. 19. Results were not available as of Tuesday, Sept. 22.

Bartram Trail's Adelyn Gaslin raced in the girls 200-yard individual medley, and Tucker Loggins swam the boys 200-yard individual medley. Creekside's Makayla Taggart and Makayla Davies also competed in the girls 200 IM. Bailey Koo swam the boys 50-yard freestyle for Creekside, and teammates Sophie Oldham, Makenna Bowen and Veronica Geist lined up in the girls 100-yard butterfly.

More than a dozen Northeast Florida schools competed at the invitational, according to a Florida Times-Union photo gallery by photographer Clayton Freeman. Bolles, Fleming Island, Ponte Vedra, Nease, St. Augustine, Beachside, Fernandina Beach and Matanzas were among the programs in the water.

Several Creekside swimmers entered the meet with momentum from the Byron Plapp Invitational on Sept. 6. Oldham won the girls 100-yard butterfly at that meet, and Taggart took first in the girls 100-yard breaststroke, according to the Florida Times-Union. Davies, Taggart, Oldham and Emmie Lewis combined to win the girls 200 medley relay.
